A new striking exhibit is being displayed at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Titled "Bombarded", this exhibit connects the history of advertising in the 1920s and the Great Depression a decade later. Due to the intense nature of the exhibit itself, an intense identity needed to be created. This concept uses a textured red base, an illustrative portrait made out of advertisement art, and a bold word mark to represent the bombardment of advertisements in the 1920s. The portrait is based on Dorothea Lange's famous "Migrant Mother" piece. The result was a thought provoking identity that reflects a thought provoking exhibit.
